Hugo Boss Names Gerrit Ruetzel CEO Of The Americas

Hugo Boss has appointed a new boss: Gerrit Ruetzel has been tapped as president and CEO of the Americas. Currently, Ruetzel is president and CEO of the Asia Pacific region at the brand, and he will relocate to the States from Hong Kong to begin the new gig on January 1st. Ruetzel is filling a role that has been vacant since June 2014, when Mark Brashear left to join Michael Kors as their global menswear president. As for Ruetzel’s successor? Gareth Incledon, who has been promoted from his post as managing director of China retail at the company. Earlier this month, the label reported that it’s on track to double womenswear sales over the next three years; in other Boss news, Jason Wu in his second season as artistic director for the label’s women’s garb.
