Bitmoji Gives Your Avatar a Dream Wardrobe

by Kristen Heinzinger

It’s already possible to create a personalized avatar with Bitmoji, and now, the app invites you to dress your “mini me” in the latest fashions. Channeling both the mall and the runways, the Bitmoji Fashion collection features designs from Joie, Tanya Taylor, DVF, Rodarte, Michael Kors Collection, Zac Posen, and Kenzo. W magazine joined in on the fun, playing stylist and dressing model Tami Williams’ avatar in looks from Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, and Alexander McQueen.

“Style and social media are both about self-expression, and our collaboration with Bitmoji approaches fashion in a fun, playful way,” said Edward Enninful, fashion and style director of W. “We’ve curated some of our favorite pieces from the fall runways and I’m excited to see how our readers infuse their personalities into these looks.”

Since a digital closet knows no limits (and is completely gratis!), Bitmoji plans to continue expanding the options on a regular basis, including looks tied to movies, TV shows, sports, times of the year, and pop culture.
