Vittorio Missoni's Body Not Recovered
Billy Farrell Agency View Gallery
(NEW YORK) Despite reports circulating today that the bodies of Vittorio Missoni and those flying with him at the time of his disappearance in an aircraft on January 4th had been found, a joint statement released today from the Missoni, Castiglioni, Foresti, and Scalvenzi families denied the story. The report was originally published by Venezuelan newspaper El Universal. However the families' statement read, "With regard to the news distributed in the media this morning relating to the possible recovery of bodies off shore at Los Roques, where previously the wreck of the plane, which disappeared on January 4th was found, the families would like to state they have not received any official and detailed communication connected to this." We wish all four families the best as the search continues.
