Tom Florio Named Senior Advisor for Fashion at IMG

(NEW YORK) Today, IMG Worldwide announced the appointment of Tom Florio to the newly-created position of senior advisor for fashion to the office of the chairman, effective October 1, 2010. In his new position, Florio will focus on identifying new, high-margin product offerings across all IMG Fashion-related businesses. He will report directly to Ted Forstmann, chairman and chief executive of IMG, the parent company of The Daily.

Most recently, Florio was senior vice president and publishing director at Condé Nast, responsible for Vogue, Teen Vogue, Bon Appétit and Condé Nast Traveler. From 2002 to 2009 he served as vice president, publishing director for the Vogue Group, where he achieved record profits and built an organization that extended the Vogue brand to multimedia platforms online, broadcast, film and books. Vogue became the leading fashion magazine in the world in advertising revenue and circulation. Florio previously served as publisher of GQ, president of The New Yorker and publisher of Condé Nast Traveler.
