The LVMH Prize Unveils Its Posh Panelists

(NEW YORK) The LVMH Prize has cobbled together a tony posse of panelists to whittle down the Prize's global array of young designers come May. A few highlights from the lengthy list of international fashion pros who will weigh in for the Prize, which is this luxury conglomerate's first-ever burgeoning talent race? Illustrious photog Patrick Demarchelier, V EIC and Harper's Bazaar creative director Stephen Gan, campaign whiz Fabien Baron, Net-a-Porter's Natalie Massenet, CR Fashion Book editrix Carine Roitfeld, and makeup maven Pat McGrath.
The panel's 40 experts, all of whom will cast their bids for their top 10 favorite collections from the Prize's contenders, also include Bergdorf Goodman's Linda Fargo, Business of Fashion's Imran Amed, Style.com's editor-at-large Tim Blanks, Vogue China EIC Angelica Cheung, stylist Marie-Amelie Sauve, Babeth Dijan of Numéro, and Julie Gilhart.
As for the Prize's lineup of eight jurors, it's a crew of top talents from their various labels: Louis Vuitton's Nicolas Ghesquière, Kenzo's Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, and Céline's Phoebe Philo, Dior's Raf Simons, Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci, Marc Jacobs, and Karl Lagerfeld.
