(NEW YORK) Last year, the Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars event celebrated Storytellers; in 2008, it was Alchemists. Next Thursday, FGI’s annual event (hosted once again by the inimitable Simon Doonan) will honor “The Globalists” at Cipriani’s Wall Street Ballroom. Headlining the event is Balenciaga’s Nicolas Ghesquiere, who will take the evening’s Superstar Award, presented by former Balenciaga campaign model and muse Jennifer Connelly. And the rest of the honorees are:
