She's a lady! No, but really: Alice Temperley did unfussy femme to the hilt, with a lot of A-lines, refined materials (slightly shimmery, mushroom-hued microprinted brocades cut into tailored separates, perhaps, various types of luxe ivory lace), and scalloped and feathery or pared-down floral prints done in pretty silhouettes, with cinched waists and flared skirts, and maxiskirts in sumptuous materials. When a fuller skirt situation wasn't present, slimmer styles included lines of ruffle down the front, say, or a monochromatic blocked minidress in chocolate. Thus, the selection ranged from a little bit go-go (said minidress) to a washed-out salmon, slightly Grecian sweeper with fluttering, fully open sleeves, capped at the wrists with thick gold cuffs. Bottom line: lots of wearable temptation present...
