Target Taps Prabal Gurung
(NEW YORK) Target's latest high-low collaboration comes courtesy of Prabal Gurung. The limited-edition womenswear collection will feature Gurung's trademark tailoring and feminine silhouettes in standout pieces including dresses, mixed-media skirts, and blazers in vibrant hues and bold patterns as well as an array of jewelry, handbags, and footwear. Apparel will retail for $19.99 to $199.99; accessories will be priced between $12.99 to $39.99.
“I am so thrilled to be working with Target on a collection that brings my designs to a wider audience,” said Gurung in a press release. “This collection was inspired by love and if Target’s guests can feel even a little bit of the love that I felt while I was designing this collection, then I will consider it a job well done.”
The Prabal Gurung for Target collection will bow in stores and online on February 10, 2013. Additionally, the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection featuring exclusive items by 24 designers, to which Gurung contributed a bow clutch and wool cape, will hit Target locations nationwide on December 1.
