Swarovski’s Fashion Week Stars
(NEW YORK) Because a little sparkle—and sponsorship—goes a long way. Swarovski has announced the 13 designers of New York, London, and Paris Fashion Weeks that it is supporting for the Spring 2011 season; each label will integrate Swarovski’s iconic crystals into their designs, and the shows will be streamed live on www.swarovski.tv. In New York, Prabal Gurung and Juan Carlos Obando will collaborate with the brand. In London, Erdem, Giles, Marios Schwab, Richard Nicoll, Mark Fast, JW Anderson, Holly Fulton, Henry Holland, Michael van der Ham, and Louis Goldin will receive support, and in Paris, and Pedro Lourenco will be representing Swarovski. “Swarovski is delighted to announce our collaboration with 13 extra ordinary talents on their SS11 collections,” said Nadja Swarovski in a statement. “We are excited to see how, through their vision, each designer will demonstrate the creative possibility of crystal in fashion.”
