After Fall’s directional forties production and Resort’s slam bam eighties showing, Miu Miu guests like Azzedine Alaia, Dirty Girl's Juno Temple, model Marie Ange Casta, and devoted fan Hailee Steinfeld were surprised this afternoon with Miuccia Prada’s mixed-bag collection. In other words, there was a dusty blue crop top button-down and a bow-tied valance shawl. That was paired with a high-waisted black skirt and cowboy boots—vaguely referencing prairie school girls. Then, a lace burgundy coat came out, layered with a patchwork print bralette and contrasting belly-botton grazing bottoms followed shortly by a nude body-con lace dress underneath a spotted off-the-shoulder coat and pink shabooties. Whew! Among the ambitious assortment, shown to the sounds of Stravinsky's "Rite of Spring", a sleek cherry red coat over a simple LBT spoke volumes.
