(NEW YORK) Street-style aficionados may be currently lusting over Giovanna Battaglia’s vintage Emporio Armani sunglasses, but now everyone can jump on the old Armani eyewear wagon. Next week, Giorgio Amani will launch Frames of Life, a collection of eyewear (optical, not sunglasses---désolée, Giovanna wannabes) inspired by the brand’s collections from the ‘80s. Traditional production methods of the times have been re-booted to create one style each for men and women, both simple, round shapes in several colors each. A retrospective exhibition and cocktail party at Armani’s Fifth Avenue flagship next Thursday will kick start the collection; click through the gallery for all the styles and the Frames of Life advertising campaign.
