SCAD Honors Ralph Rucci
The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) will present the Andre Leon Talley lifetime achievement award to Ralph Rucci during its annual runway show at Trustees Theater on May 19. The designer will join the ranks of previous recipients including DvF, Karl Lagerfeld, Tom Ford, and last year's winner, Manolo Blahnik. "I am very honored to have been chosen to receive the ALT Lifetime Achievement Award from SCAD this year and am distinctly proud of my association with this wonderful school,” said Rucci. “It is surely one of the most important and respected institutions of higher creative learning in America and I am grateful for this great compliment to my work and to the incomparable work of the Chado staff.” On three: hip hip hurray!
