Rykiel Goes Bobo
(NEW YORK) Bobo was bursting at the seams last night for the Sonia Rykiel Pour H&M launch party. Guests arrived at the candlelight soiree to the bumping beats of DJ Chanel Iman. The model-turned-spinmaster cranked out GoldFrapp, Michael Jackson, MGMT, No Doubt, and Beyonce for Leighton Meester, Kelly Rutherford, Michelle Williams, Amanda Hearst, Chanel Farrell, Mark Indelicato, Kelly Bensimon and more. Rubbing shoulders with Chanel, The Daily learned just how superstitious the leggy stunner could be. "My boyfriend wants a pair of Phillip Lim shoes for Valentine's Day, but I don’t know if I want to get him shoes. You know what they say--when a woman gives a man shoes, he walks out on her!" As for Gossip Girl's sauciest Queen B? "I'll be working for Valentine's Day," Leighton told us. "I don't know how to juggle. I just focus on work. I don't want anything." Noted.
When asked about the biggest diva on the Ugly Betty set, Mark Indelicato mischieviously answered, "Mark Indelicato! He’s just really rude and causes a scene all the time, like he won’t leave his dressing room. Honestly, I get so annoyed." When we asked Nathalie Rykiel what was the first item she ever purchased at the affordable shop spot, she waved her manicured hand and joked, "I've never been in an H&M! My daughters go and they tell me what they buy." MARIA DENARDO
