Runway Reviews: Rochas
(PARIS) For the first time since taking his debut stab at Halston, Marco Zanini packed an EIC-heavy fashion show--and this time around, he confidently delivered. After a few seasons of warm up presentations, his latest effort finally felt complete. His girls looked like 1960's bombshells powered by lurex, sensuous tweeds, and sharp overcoats. Rochas' fall girl is all about flash (tasteful pastels and loud prints) and dash (impressive, attentive separates). While some of the cocktail dresses had a tad too many ruffles and whistles, this showing marked a complete passage of personal vision for the talented Italian.
