Robert Clergerie Taps Eva Taub as CEO
(NEW YORK) Robert Clergerie has appointed Eva Taub as the luxe French shoe label's latest chief executive officer. Taub most recently helmed Christian Dior Couture's leather division, handling a wide spate of capacities at the gig, including design, merchandising, marketing, and supply chain matters. Before landing at Christian Dior Couture, the Stanford and Harvard Business School alum launched Isotoner in Europe, prior to which Taub was a Merrill Lynch financial advisor in New York and Hong Kong. On the design side, Clergerie named Roland Mouret as creative director in 2011. With Taub now running the show business-wise, expect the 127-year-old label to ramp up its revamping efforts.
