Resort 2014: Alice + Olivia
(NEW YORK) All grown up! Stacey Bendet's resort collection for Alice + Olivia had some sophisticated looks that will have both her current clientele swooning and perhaps some new ones too. To wit: Nautical inspired pieces like an uber chic pair of white wide leg pants with navy stripes at the cuff and a matching short sleeve top with a navy stripe at the bottom and a pair of skinny high-waisted navy pants with a simple blue and white striped spaghetti strap top were looks that would look as good on a girl in her 20’s as it would in her 30’s and 40’s.
Bendet’s flare for fun and flirty designs was still evident. How so? Those high waisted navy pants and striped top were accessorized with a clutch designed to look like a strawberry, plus there were plenty of crop top sweaters worn with flouncy skirts and a baby doll dress with little hearts worn with a navy sunhat. Those rose petals falling like confetti remind us that Bendet’s still a girly girl at heart.
