Looks like Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough are our prints charming duo of the Pre-Fall 2013 scene. The pattern play spanned the gamut from crisply-rendered B&W ensembles (take brushstroke-emblazoned skirts and trousers with the kind of boxy leather jacketing that Proenza lust is known for) to nearly-glowing frocks and knee-grazing skirts in shades of mustard and teal with an oil-on-water effect, cut for just enough flounce for good measure. Wool wrap jackets trimmed in thick swatches of leather lent some edge to such a traditionally ladylike article du attire, and slimcut black wear-on-the-daily long-sleeved tops get a bit of a twist thanks to white turtleneck colorblocked appliques. Perforated leather clutchables rounded out the desire quotient, unsurprisingly so from such a design duo so adept in the accessories. The boys have done it again!
