PPR To Buy Christopher Kane?

(NEW YORK) Is PPR on the fast-track to invest in Christopher Kane? That's what industry insiders are tipping off this morning. Reportedly, the luxury conglomerate—whose umbrella of fashion houses includes Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, Stella McCartney, and Alexander McQueen—has arranged meetings with the London-based designer to hash out the financial details of the deal. Thus far, PPR's Francois-Henri Pinault and Kane are keeping mum about the potential partnership.

Christopher Kane was linked with PPR earlier this month when another rumor circulated the web claiming the Scotsman was accepting the top tier post at Balenciaga. Although Kane deflected the gossip as "unfounded," he parted ways with Versace's diffusion line, Versus, one day later. Stay tuned as the saga continues!
