(NEW YORK) Happy Monday. Just hours before New York's Fashion Week officially kicks off, Condé Nast has announced a slew of fashion director switch-ups at its glossies. Michael Carl, formerly fashion director of Allure, will be decamping to the Vanity Fair offices at 4 Times Square, where he will serve as fashion market director. He joined Allure in March 2006; previously, he served as market director at Jane and held positions in the fashion departments of Interview and Nylon. A popular front-row fixture, the fitness guru is especially beloved for the group abs classes he occasionally leads in his hotel rooms during the European collections.

Meanwhile, Carl's position at Allure will be filled by Treena Lombardo, the longtime market director of W who left the magazine last June. Her first day at Allure will be February 14—just in time for Valentine's Day, the Marc Jacobs show, and Allure's 20th anniversary dinner, which will be held that night. Bienvenue!

UPDATE: Apparently Carl's abs classes are confined strictly to the Principe gym. Maybe VF will spring for a suite so the chicsters can crunch in private?
