(NEW YORK) Zoe Saldana took a front-row seat at MaxMara’s Fall 2010 runway show in Milan in February (next to Cathy Horyn, if we recall correctly), and that was only the beginning of her relationship with the brand. On Tuesday, June 1, Women In Film, Los Angeles will honor four women in the industry, with the MaxMara Face of the Future honor going to the Avatar star at the 2010 Crystal + Lucy Awards. MaxMara’s sponsored award began at the Women in Film’s 2006 ceremony; Saldana will join the ranks of past recipients Elizabeth Banks, Ginnifer Goodwin, Maria Bello and Emily Blunt.

Also being honored at the ceremony: Courteney Cox, who’ll take the Lucy Award for Excellence in Television; Donna Langley, who’ll take the Crystal Award for Excellence in Film; and Cynthia Pusheck, who will be honored with the 2010 Kodak Vision Award. “Women In Film is thrilled to be honoring this remarkable group of talented women,” said WIF, LA president Jane Fleming. “At the dawn of a new decade, it is heartening to acknowledge careers marked by independent vision, daring creative choices and unique talent.”
