(NEW YORK) “It’s really not heavy! It’s actually very light,” revealed Adriana Lima, describing the $2 million Bombshell Fantasy Bra designed exclusively by Damaini for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Lima has been given the glittery honor of walking in the bra during the VS bonanza event, which will airs Tuesday, November 30 on CBS. The super hosted an intimate luncheon Wednesday afternoon at the cozy West Village haunt, Bobo, inviting guests to have an up-close look at the resplendent lingerie. It may seem a bit elaborate to toast to a bra, but this is no ordinary undergarment. The Fantasy Bra is made of more than 3,000 diamonds, sapphires and topazes, all set in 18 karat white gold. But Lima assured us that she won’t topple over once she puts on the masterpiece. “It feels great, trust me!”

As comfortable as the bra may be, Lima changed into luncheon attire once at Bobo, as she had just come from debuting the diamond-encrusted wonder at the Victoria’s Secret Soho store earlier that day. “This is from the morning,” Lima explained as she passed around her iPhone, and everyone glanced at the shot of Lima taken in the morning, clad in the Fantasy Bra, emerging from a retro convertible. As the entrees of salmon, beef (and chicken for Lima) were served, chatter quickly turned to the most memorable performances at the Victoria’s Secret Show—Justin Timberlake, the Black Eyed Peas--everyone had a favorite. But Lima is especially looking forward to this year’s musical guest. “I’m excited because it’s going to be Katy Perry and Akon. I’ve met Katy before and she is so sweet.” And is the Brazilian super anxious to walk in the VS show for the first time after giving birth to daughter Valentina? “No, no, no nerves!” she promised. “I’ve been working out and taking care of my nutrition. Come the day of the show, I’ll be ready!”
