Kimberly Ovitz Launches E-Commerce
(NEW YORK) Today, another young designer has entered the realm of ecommerce: Kimberly Ovitz has added the feature to her site, kimberlyovtiz.com. The online store will feature mainly knitwear for Fall 2010, and shoppers can browse through three categories: Tops, Bottoms and Sweaters, with most product devoted to the first category. The Andover Tunic in Dark Dusk is currently available for $200, and the oversized silk and cashmere Grinnell Cardigan is $870. The young, Los Angeles-born designer has racked up more and more retailers since she launched in Spring 2009, appealing particularly to a celebrity clientele. Ovitz’s designs are available in store at numerous locations including Saks Fifth Avenue, Otte, Scoop, Curve and Blue&Cream.
