JW Anderson Joins Versus as Guest Designer
(NEW YORK) JW Anderson is the next guest designer to pair up with Versus, following Christopher Kane's adieu from the label earlier this month after three years of working with chez Versace. The coed capsule collection by designer Jonathan William Anderson will debut at a New York presentation come spring. Concurrent with Anderson joining Versus, the Versace offshoot label is getting a slight retool as well: The line will be co-designed by Donatella Versace, and one can expect the brand's scope to get more digitally-savvy. Also on the docket for Versus? Going sans seasons. The Irish-born designer launched his line in 2008, and is an alum of the London College of Fashion, from which he graduated in 2005. On Tuesday, Anderson scored the Emerging Talent Award for Ready-to-Wear at the 2012 British Fashion Awards.
