(NEW YORK) After purchasing a majority share of Vionnet in May, creative director and chair Goga Ashkenazi (of GoTo Enterprise Sarl) has now acquired the remaining shares from former co-owners Matteo Marzotto and Marni CEO Gianni Castiglioniand their associates, garnering her a 100 percent stake in the company.

The legendary French fashion house was founded by Madeleine Vionnet in 1912, revived briefly in 2006 under the ownership of Arnaud de Lummen, and relaunched in 2008 when Marzotto and Castiglioni bought the brand. Vionnet has since been under the creative control of numerous designers including Sophia Kokosalaki, Marc AudibetRodolfo Paglialuna, and most recently, sisters Barbara and Lucia Croce. In August, the Croce siblings stepped down and were replaced by an in-house team. Last month, Ashkenazi showcased the fashion house's first demi-couture collection in celebration of its 100th birthday.
