(NEW YORK) GEN ART returns to the style scene with a talented lineup for Fresh Faces in Fashion 2011. “We are thrilled to be continuing the tradition of Fresh Faces in Fashion, bringing together what we feel is the best slate of new design talent under one roof to share with members of the industry and press, enabling everyone to get a glimpse of tomorrow's fashion greats...today," said GEN ART co-president Elizabeth Shaffer. Ace & Jig, Ann Yee, Eighteenth, Jennifer Chun, Sunghee Bang, and William Okpo will rep womenswear while Baron Wells will make a strong showing for menswear. On the accessories front, Collina Strada, Falconiere, Osborn, and Wool and the Gang will display their Spring 2012 gems in installation format. The newly-minted set will showcase their Spring 2012 collection during the GEN ART Fresh Faces in Fashion runway show on September 9th in the Grand Ballroom of the Manhattan Center avec cocktails and an after-party at haute nightspot, 404. Tickets range from $50 to $95. In past years, GEN ART has been a catalist for emerging designers from Zac Posen to Phillip Lim. In December, the 16 year organization was aquired by New York-based publishing company Sandow Media.
