Evian Gets the DvF Treatment
(NEW YORK) Thirsty, chéris? For the first time, Evian is partnering with an American designer on a limited-edition bottle. Starting on November 5, Diane von Furstenberg's take on the hydrating vessel for the brand's 2013 special edition design will be available in-store and through shop.evian.us for $7.99 per bottle. The custom, teardrop-shaped 750ml bottle boasts von Furstenberg's handwritten words "water is life is love is life is love is life is water” along with an organic ink printed signature surrounded by a heart. For the eco-conscious among us, the design is 100 percent recyclable. Design-hounds and the average H2O guzzlers alike, take note of the new screw-cap design.
"I am so excited about this collaboration because I have always loved evian® and I think drinking water is one of the most important things we can do to love ourselves and love is life!" von Furstenberg said in a statement.
Since 2008, the France-based water giant has worked with Jean Paul Gaultier, Paul Smith, Issey Miyake, and Christian Lacroix.
