DKNY Teams Up With Refinery29

(NEW YORK) Attention N.Y., L.A., S.F., Chicago, D.C, and Miami (and beyond)! Refinery29 is teaming up with DKNY on a bag line inspired by the readers and editors of each local market: Annie Georgia Greenberg, Brenna Egan, Angela Tafoya, Holly E. Thomas, Rebecca Taras, and Leila Brillson. The collection will include seven handbags named after the site's city presences and will retail between $195 and $395, available at Refinery29.com, DKNY stores, and DKNY.com in March. 

Refinery29 branching out from their editorial coverage of fashion (with more of a lifestyle bent than many of their competitors) by adding an e-commerce component, Refinery Shops, in June 2012. Co-founder Philippe von Borries described the expansion to WWD as “shoppable entertainment,” making collaborations like Refinery29 for Lipstick Queen and the latest, Refinery29 for DKNY, the next logical steps.
