(NEW YORK) Supermod Christy Turlington Burns is the new face of the Calvin Klein Underwear, taking over the role from fellow mega model Lara Stone. Turlington Burns is quite seasoned when it comes to flaunting her flawless looks for the brand; she made her first debut at the fashion house when she walked the runway for Calvin Klein Collection in 1987. The following year she was the face of Calvin Klein Collection, shot by iconic photog Irving Penn. She would later go on to be the face of their fragrance campaign for Eternity, which was shot by Bruce Weber. Since then she's been the face of multiple campaigns from Calvin Klein Collection, Calvin Klein Underwear, Calvin Klein Jeans, and Calvin Klein Swimwear. She also went on to model for three more campaigns for Eternity. Rather appropriate given her longstanding relationship with the brand, non? Obviously, nothing comes between her and her Calvins.
While Turlington Burns has worked with the likes of Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Peter Lindbergh and Jurgen Teller on Calvin campaigns, the Fall 2013 campaign will be shot by Mario Sorrenti on location in Vieques, Puerto Rico. The 44-year-old mother of two is still wowing the lenses with her famous visage. To wit: At a luncheon for famed photographer Sante D'Orazio, The Daily asked him which mod of the many he's shot has the most natural beauty. His response? Christy Turlington. No wonder Calvin Klein has been shooting her all these years!
