Changes at Louis Vuitton
(NEW YORK) Louis Vuitton’s communications team is welcoming a new addition, and bumping up an existing member with a promotion. Emmanuelle Guillon, formerly managing director at Publicis Groupe’s Agence 133, has been named communications director heading up advertising and digital creation efforts at LV. Guillon will share the director title with Isabella Capece Galeota, who has been promoted to communications director of PR and events. Capeca Galeota formerly headed up European press for Fendi before arriving at Vuitton in 2007 as director of product PR; she also did a stint at Giorgio Armani prior to Fendi. Pietro Beccari, Vuitton’s executive VP of marketing and communications, will oversee Guillon and Capece Galeota in their new capacities. Shifts to the LV communications cadre come almost a year after communications director (and Bernard’s son) Antoine Arnault’s departure from his position last November. The younger Arnault has since moved on to helm the management team of the luxe LVMH-owned French men's footwear brand, Berluti.
