Who needs an Oscar? The CFDA Fashion Awards nominees and honorees were announced on Wednesday night at the fashion council's swanky Bleecker Street office with some usual suspects and welcome newcomers entering the ring this year. CFDA President Diane von Furstenberg and Nadja Swarovski announced the nominations to a crowd that included Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen, Vera Wang, Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs, Dean Harris, Dennis Basso, Erin Beatty and Max Osterweis, Eugenia Kim, Johan Lindeberg, Michael Bastian, Pamela Love, Philip Crangi, Phillip Lim, Rebecca Taylor, Robert Geller, Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters, Simon Spurr, Todd Snyder, Brian Wolk, Claude Morais, Waris Ahluwalia, Yigal Azrouel, and CFDA CEO Steven Kolb.
