(NEW YORK) It's an ace year for Calvin Klein Collection, which is collecting a windfall at the 15th annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards Gala tonight. The ACE Awards is bestowing the Designer of the Year award on three CK designers: women’s creative director Francisco Costa, men’s creative director Italo Zucchelli, and men’s and women’s shoes and accessories creative director Ulrich Grimm. This marks the first time the Designer of the Year Award will be presented to three designers from one brand.

Launched in 1995, the ACE Awards pay tribute to those that have made great strides in the business of accoutrements. Awards are given to designers, retailers, journalists, celebrities and emerging companies voted on by peers, retailers, and the Accessories Council Board of Directors.

Other honorees announced for this year's ACE Awards Gala include Essence's Constance White for the Mary Lou Luther Award for Fashion Journalism, Theodora & Callum for Brand Launch, C. Wonder for Specialty Retailer, Stella + Dot for Retail Innovation, and Vince Camuto for the Visionary Award.
