Burberry Promotes Jan Heppe to President of the Americas
(New York) Burberry’s got a new boss. Former chief operating officer at Burberry, Jan Heppe, has been promoted to president of the Americas at the company where she will oversee the development and growth of the brand, further entrenching North and South America with plenty of checked gabardine. Eugenia Ulasewicz, who was previously in the role for 15 years, will retire but will remain on the board of the Burberry Foundation, which supports various non-profits to aid youth in creative endeavors.
Heppe joined Burberry in 2001 where she began as vice president of stores for Burberry USA. With sales slowing in July and growth in the Americas hovering around 3.4 percent, Heppe will have her work cut out for her, but with 12 years of experience under her belt at the iconic British brand we’re sure she'll do just fine. Bon chance, cheri!
