(NEW YORK) Fashion school students all know her name, but the editor in chief of Vogue has avoided the speaker’s circuit—until now. As part of the sixteenth annual Pratt Institute President’s Lecture Series, Anna Wintour will speak at the art school’s Brooklyn Campus on Monday, April 19. Following the lecture, Vogue European editor at large Hamish Bowles will take the mic for a question and answer session. “I look forward to the honor of welcoming such a legend in the fashion world to Pratt,” said Pratt president Thomas F. Schutte. “The entire campus is excited about what promises to be a memorable event for all, especially the fashion students, who will receive the rare opportunity to see and hear from one of the industry’s most influential and renowned figures.”

The lecture will be free and open to the public, although seating is limited and by reservation. Those interested in attending should email events@pratt.edu by Tuesday, April 3. In addition, Pratt’s student-run program board has organized a private screening of R.J. Cutler’s The September Issue, which will take place on April 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Pratt Student Union.
