(LONDON) For Spring 2009, de la Morena continued his exploration of draping, revealing sumptuous folds, pleats and cutouts (either exposing bare skin or mesh underlay) in his looks. Skintight short-sleeved satin dresses belied an interest in geometric shapes, courtesy of the artist's inspiration this season, late Scottish sculptor Eduardo Paolozzi. Colors ranged from delicate ivory and rose hues to vivid shades, including an Yves Klein blue.
