Escada - Resort 2009
(NEW YORK) For Cruise 2009, Escada presented a wave of easy breezy pieces. Mermaid gowns with chiffon petals exuded a sense of seaside elegance while cupcake-like confections had a distinct southern charm. The multicolored palette created a fruit bowl of flavorful colors like ripened cherry, lemon, and lime. A massive floral print dominated a cerulean dress and short shift. Cropped biker jackets, trenches and suits in unique cuts and fabrics mixed elegance and edge. Floaty, ethereal frocks exuded a cool tropical breeze, while more embellished beaded gowns had a sophisticated severity.
