Kevan Hall - L.A. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2008
(LOS ANGELES) Inspired by "the beauty of Africa captured by Jack Guy," Kevan Hall's show brought elements of the tribal to L.A. as a parade of prints marched down the runway. Bright gowns in seafoam and yellow, scarves worn as tops, jungle print looks, and a series of metallic dresses were accessorized by a touch of plumage on a cap sleeve or bolero and African beaded bracelets and necklaces. Hall brought all attention to the neckline, with his asymmetrical and halter necks and plunging décolletage. Jennifer Beals, Eriq La Salle, Nia Long, and Rebecca De Mornay were among those spotted at the show.
