Jil Sander - Milan Fashion Week Spring 2008
(MILAN) Pops of hot pink and orange stood out in the spring collection from Jil Sander, as did sheer gauzy pieces that were lightly slipped over an outfit or virtually mummified the model. The primary focus seemed to be on the movement of the pieces. Raf Simons mostly stuck to the typical design scheme of the line, with slim lines and slim elegance. The plays on volume in sleeves and draping in jackets left the breezy part of spring in the atmosphere, while the light fabrics are oh-so-summery chic.
