Nicole Farhi - London Fashion Week Spring 2008
(LONDON) Nicole Farhi is known for easy, comfortable pieces and this show marking her 25th anniversary was totally consistent with that aesthetic. Farhi went boho chic this season with an abstract journey through Africa. Tribal prints and florals in deep colors gave the collection a sense of exotic warmth, and looks relied heavily on red and purple shades. Farhi also raised the waist this season with high skirts and cropped wide, loose pants. Black and white plaid strips served as an accent on black shirts and jumpers and peasant shirts and skirts flowed for a relaxed feel.
