Talking Luxury in Berlin
(NEW YORK) Christopher Bailey, Tomas Maier, and Frida Giannini surely know a thing or two about luxury, having driven their brands to top spots in the market. And tomorrow and Wednesday, these designers and more will share their knowledge at the International Herald Tribune and IMG’s annual luxury conference, held in Berlin, Germany. Hosted by IHT fashion editor Suzy Menkes, Techno Luxury will feature Bailey, Maier, and Giannini, as well as Claus-Dietrich Lahrs of Hugo Boss AG and Alain Dominique Perrin of Compagnie Financière Richemont, speaking on the business of the global fashion and luxury industry.
IMG’s involvement in Techno Luxury is twofold: as a sponsor, IMG will host the gala dinner attended by all the speakers and delegates as well helping to produce the event. “The IHT and IMG have complementary positions within the fashion and luxury sector,” said Peter Levy, senior vice president and managing director for IMG Fashion Worldwide. “The IHT luxury conference is the perfect place for business insiders to network and learn from each other. To be part of this elite platform is a great honor for us.”
