A Tom Ford Man
(NEW YORK) Those among you clamoring for Tom Ford's hotly-anticipated women's samples have reason to breathe easier--one of fashion's best-loved publicists, Andrew Fry, has been named PR director for North and South America at the brand. Fry most recently served as the PR manager at Burberry. At Tom Ford, Fry will report to Cori Galpern, worldwide director of communications, and work on men's, women's, fragrance, eyewear, and events. Fry starts at his new post on Wednesday and his first projects will include events surrounding the release of A Single Man in the United States.
Fry began his career at Ralph Lauren before serving 3 years at Banana Republic. Following a stint at C&M Media, where he worked on Brioni, Missoni, Just Cavalli and Moncler, Fry moved to Burberry in 2007. He was instrumental in orchestrating the 153-year-old brand's return to London Fashion Week in September as well as its opulent "Burberry Day" festivities in New York this past May.
