Jil Sander's YOOX Move
(NEW YORK) Score one more high-fashion name for the YOOX Group. The e-commerce powerhouse, which announced last week that it would be powering Roberto Cavalli’s foray into an online shop in late November, launches Jil Sander’s e-commerce site, which goes live today. JilSander.com will offer women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, and accessories, including eyewear and fragrances, starting with the fall 2009 collection. “Jil Sander is committed to offering impeccable quality and perfect services to our clients, and we believe that online shopping, as well as the whole web world, constitutes an essential part of this commitment,” said Jil Sander Group CEO Alessandro Cremonesi. “The focus on developing this new e-commerce business enhances the luxurious lifestyle world of Jil Sander to the level of the World Wide Web. It will also enable Jil Sander to open up a platform for an interactive discourse, creating closer relations with both our longstanding clients and those who have just recently experienced the Jil Sander world; a new strategy of communication, a proposition to share ideas and values.”
The Jil Sander online shop will offer free delivery and promotions in its first 10 days (so click quickly!), and will be accessible in the United States, Europe, and Japan.
