A Real Beauty
(NEW YORK) Roopal Patel has long been a luminary on the fashion circuit, and now, the Neiman Marcus women's fashion accessory senior market editor is breaking new ground in the beauty realm. The fash-industry veteran has collaborated with Le Métier de Beauté’s celebrity marketup artist Troy Surratt on the brand's Limited Edition Roopal Patel Collection, which will bow exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman. Patel used Fall 2009 runway trends as a jumping-off point to create an edited collection of eye, lip and cheek hues in hues ranging from whites and grays to pinks, oranges and blacks. Patel concocted three 3 looks for the season, which she dubbed "Road Warrior," "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," and "Neon."
Additionally, Patel custom-blended a Fall 2009 color palette, which will bow at Bergdorf Goodman on September 10 and retail for $225. "I believe style happens when a woman puts a personal signature on her look," said Patel. "I'm thrilled to finally be able to design the ultimate accessory incorporating my favorite beauty looks for Fall to compliment the must have trends I saw on the runway.”
On Thursday, September 10, Surratt will discuss the collaboration from 12-2 on the Beauty Level, and Patel will host a Fashion's Night Out reception from 6-7 on 5F that will be attended by Hana Soukupova, Grammy nominated recording artist Amerie, Antonio “LA” Reid, and Donald and Melania Trump.
