(NEW YORK) The Fashion’s Night Out plans keep rolling in--but what better way to motivate shoppers to come out than with a costume party? Ok, so David Yurman, Longchamp, and Anya Hindmarch’s FNO fêtes may be costume optional, but with Yurman’s western-themed bash, Longchamp’s Gatsby-inspired jazz night, and Hindmarch’s “How do you wear yours?” party, there are sure to be some creative ensembles on the loose. At Yurman’s shop, guests will enjoy barbeque and western music while shopping the fall jewelry and timepiece collections, though one lucky shopper will win more than just a night at the party. Yurman will raffle off a one-of-a-kind belt buckle, made of sterling silver, bronze, and a Picture Jasper stone that was created in the 1970s.
Longchamp will look to the flapper era to celebrate the launch of its new Gatsby bag. Live jazz will entertain--as will host Lily Cole--and Lykke Li will man the DJ booth. Over at Anya Hindmarch’s Greene Street shop, the theme is up to vous, with a “How do you wear yours?” competition. Shoppers can choose a Hindmarch bag and a prop or two, and pose for the camera (manned by model photographer Henry Hargreaves). The customer that Anya herself chooses as the subject of the most inspirational and creative photo will not only win the bag they chose, but their picture will grace the official Anya Hindmarch website. Dress your best!
