Sell, Sell, Sell
(NEW YORK) Fashion’s Night Out may be a mere two weeks away, but some retailers aren’t waiting for the shopping extravaganza to unveil their new wares. Hats by Selima will launch the opening of its Street of Shops at Henri Bendel on Wednesday, September 2, featuring the brand’s colorful (and often Swarovski-encrusted!) collection of chapeaus. A special display for the event will feature a recreation of Hats by Selima’s Bond Street atelier in the Henri Bendel windows, complete with craftsman Lopeti creating custom works at his spontaneous window workstation.
Menwhile, a few blocks north on East 65th Street, Ankasa New York will be reveling in its new ready-to-wear floor (open now), devoted to Sachin and Babi. The lower level of the Ankasa flagship has been completely renovated to offer the dresses, separates, knits, and necklaces (retailing from $110-$395), with the company’s signature home décor and accessories still available on the upper level.
