The Suite Life
(NEW YORK) Come Fashion Week, fashion and beauty bloggers will earn a refuge all their own. HauteLook.com is setting up a suite in the Bryant Park Hotel from September 10-15 specifically for those who cover the shows in real time. In addition to the usual snacks and cocktails, the suite will offer a Sony workstation as well as a full schedule of events. Alvin Valley will unveil his Spring 2010 collection on September 14; Minnie Mortimer will stage a trunk show on September 10. Lucy Sykes and Katie Brown will host a Fashion Play Date on the 12th, where their latest wares will be on display. Comptoir Sud Pacifique will install a fragrance bar, while VIPs will be treated to gift bags stocked with items like Jennifer Creel for Modo sunglasses. Haus Interior owner Nina Freudenberger will design the space. "We want it to be a home away from home for those writers who essentially spend the week in the Tents," explained Carlota Espinosa, HauteLook's vice president. "The idea is that people will come back daily."
