Maybe They're Born With It?
(NEW YORK) Given that Maybelline has signed a two-year committment as an official sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, it's no wonder the brand will be spotted all over the Tents--and beyond. The division of L'Oreal USA has signed on to create beauty looks for a record 8 shows: Alexandre Hercovitch, Charlotte Ronson, Christian Cota, DKNY, Michael Angel, RVCA x Erin Wasson, Tracy Reese, and VPL by Victoria Bartlett. The group represents a mix of seasoned Fashion Week regulars and relative newbies. Last season, Maybelline worked with 7 designers including Reese, Angel, Wasson, and Custo Barcelona, along with Trovata, Kai Kuhne and William Rast.
Charlotte Willer, the brand's global make-up artist, will oversee all these runway efforts, leading teams to create unique looks for each show. Expect plenty of the brand's new Color Sensational lipstick, which spent approximately two years in development.
