(NEW YORK) Sam Haskins is best known for his iconic photography collection of 1960s style known as Cowboy Kate, but he’s poised for quite the revival this September. In his joint publishing project with a fashion designer in two decades, Haskins is teaming up with Tommy Hilfiger for Fashion Etcetera: Tommy Hilfiger Special Edition. The tome will include a retrospective of the photographers work, spanning 5 decades--from pure fashion images to nude black and white photography to pictures from around the world--and Hilfiger will be helping Haskins launch the project. The Special Edition will launch at the end of September and will be available exclusively at Tommy Hilfiger global stores—including Hilfiger’s global flagship store on Fifth Avenue, opening that month.
Fashion Etcetera: Tommy Hilfiger Special Edition will be further fêted by Hilfiger, who has designed the book’s translucent slip-case, written the foreward, and created an exclusive capsule collection including a canvas tote, tee and scarf, featuring Haskins’ classic image of “Gill with Curl”--the cover image of the book.
