(NEW YORK) As reported by The Daily Telegraph, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy will perform in New York on July 18 as part of Nelson Mandela's 91st birthday celebration. The 41-year-old former model, who famously vowed to put her musical performances on hiatus during her tenure as First Lady, will sing a duet with the Eurythmics' Dave Stuart at Radio City Music Hall alongside other artists like Aretha Franklin, Josh Groban, Queen Latifah, Cyndi Lauper and more.

Tickets to "Mandela Day" are available to the public, but one VIP attendee isn't on any guest lists--at least not officially, yet. Well-placed insiders are buzzing that the French president will make an unannounced appearance at Radio City.
