Meet the New Calvin-ites
(NEW YORK) At last, the moment you model-philes have been waiting for. Today, Calvin Klein revealed its Fall 2009 advertising campaigns, which will appear in approximately 1,080 pages globally as well as on numerous outdoor venues. Produced under the creative direction of CRK, the brand's in-house advertising agency, the campaigns were also advised by Fabien Baron of Baron + Baron.
The top models featured are Eva Mendes, who will star in the Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear ads alongside Jamie Dornan. Both campaigns were photographed by Steven Klein in Palm Beach. Dornan now appears in four of the brand's campaigns, including Calvin Klein and ck Free.
Craig McDean features models Jourdan Dunn, Sigrid and William in the ck Calvin Klein photographs, shot in New York City. The Calvin Klein campaign, shot in New York City by Craig McDean in New York City, features Dornan alongside Edita. The Calvin Klein Collection images, captured by David Sims, will show the work of Italo Zucchelli and Francisco Costa on Will and Jac, respectively. Jac, whose full name is Monica Jagaciak, opened and closed Costa's most recent show.
And Dornan's work with the brand is just beginning--literally. He is travelling to Milan this week to attend Zucchelli's mens show, and he will subsequently attend a very intimate dinner to celebrate the collection--and the Calvin Klein Collection men's creative director's very recent CFDA Award for Menswear Designer of the Year.
