Space! Light! Proximity!
(NEW YORK) Looking for good news? Then check in with Brian Reyes. The designer, whose offices were formerly located at 101 Fifth Avenue, recently signed a a five-year lease for 4,700 square feet at 304 Hudson Street in Hudson Square. Reyes' neighbors in the building include Pierre Roguier, Yohji Yamamoto and Atelier. The Reyes team has already its moved office, showroom and design operations to the 5th floor of the new Tribeca space.
"From a staffing perspective, we've expanded so much over the last year that we simply needed additional room," said Stephanie Cozzi, president of Brian Reyes LLC. "W're working on so many projects simultaneously. We went from 1,000 square feet to almost quintuple that amount, and the price value just couldn't be beat. Brian wanted space, light, and proximity, and bcause we make 90% of our garments in Manhattan, we needed to be near a major metro line. Our production manager can easily run up and down to Midtown multiple times a day on the A/C/E to check on our production."
"From a spacial perspective, I feel like we've grown up a lot this year," said Jim Sabey, managing partner. "We've gone from a luxury, niche, mom-and-pop fashion brand to really feeling confident about the future."
